FSEM ASC

The Faculty of Sports and Exercise Medicine (RCPI & RCSI) hold its Annual Scientific Conference (ASC) every September.

Specialist Training in SEM

FSEM's Higher Specialist Training programme (HST SEM) launched in July 2019, with the appointment of our first 2 SpR trainees.

Fellows & Members

The Faculty currently has 650 Fellows and Members based in Ireland and overseas. Postgraduate conferring ceremonies take place in RCSI in July and December.

SEM Journal Clubs

The Faculty runs a number of journal clubs and grand rounds at regional level. Sessions are scheduled on an ad'hoc basis during the academic year.

Virtual SEM Journal Club - Belfast

This Journal Club will be led by Dr Martin McConaghy, Belfast. This event will be held off site and a link will be forwarded to you once you have registered to attend this event.  This event will either take place via ZOOM or MS Teams, which will be confirmed closer to the date.

Reading Material will be forwarded in advance of the Journal Club.
